Self-Compassion as a Path of Healing is the second of three programs 

in the Heal Your Heart Through Meditation series. 

In this program you will learn sacred practices 

to connect with and heal your Inner Critic.

Learn about the feminine and masculine forms of self-compassion

Apply Yin and Yang self-care when facing challenges

Explore integrating self-compassion with mindfulness meditation

Week 2

Self-Care Vision Board

Explore what you find physically, emotionally, and spiritually nourishing

Create a vision board with images, illustrations and words that represent your unique self-care vision

Week 3

Learning to Rate Behaviour Rather Than The Self

Learn about self-acceptance as the basis of your relationship with yourself

Explore the difference between judging yourself and judging your behaviours

Week 4

Befriending Your Inner Critic

Get to know the judging voice in your head

Turn your Inner Critic into an ally

Week 5

Create A Compassion Bowl

Introduce ritual as a way to develop your relationship with self-compassion

Create your personal compassion bowl and collect daily self-compassion actions

Week 6

Embodied Compassion For Others

Identify your new embodied understanding of compassion

Use a guided meditation to bring your felt experience of compassion to others

Week 7

Heroic Compassion For World Peace

Profoundly deepen your embodied compassion practices

Expand your embodied compassion practices globally

How this program works

This effective self-study program guides you through a FUN 7-week process 

to integrate self-compassion into your daily life

You will receive one email a day 
On Sundays you will do a 1-hour in-depth homeplay exercise
Daily, from Monday - Friday you will meditate for 10 minutes and do a 10-minute exercise building off the homeplay you did on Sunday (a total of 20 minutes per day)
Saturdays are your day of rest and integration

About the Program Guide

Andrea M. Winn, MEd Counselling Psychology

Andrea is a wise, brave and caring woman. She has integrated deep personal healing with strong academic training, healing arts training, social justice activism, and work with clients for the past 20 years. Andrea is a catalyst for change. She works globally to invoke healing and authentic spirituality. Her passion is empowering people to heal from trauma and live their full potential. Her work has been documented in high-profile publications such as the front page of The New York Times, NewsweekThe Guardian, and The Columbia Journalism Review. She has been interviewed on NPR, CBC Radio and CBC TV.

Her formal credentials include:

A Masters of Education in Counselling Psychology (University of Toronto, 2008) - Focus of degree: Healing relational trauma
Bachelor of Arts Honours in Women's Studies (Mount St. Vincent University, 2003)
Mediation Certification (York University, 2003) - Six month certification program
Four levels of Soul Art Guide Certification Training (Bodymapping, Chakras, Spirit Guides, and Shaman, 2017)
Five year apprenticeship with a Mi’kmaq Shaman (Quebec, Canada, 2005)
A lifetime of mindfulness meditation, beginning with growing up in a Tibetan Buddhist community.
