Do you work with the Law of Attraction?
Do you know its complement: The Universal Law of Action?
We’re exploring how to open up this important aspect of abundant spiritual business in a 4-part teaching series on The Universal Law of Action.
Let’s jump in and explore Work Wound #2 and Part 2 of the Law of Action!
Compassionate Lens for Work Wound #2: You Must Make Money NOW
The second work wound is related to the Base Chakra, our sense of security at the base of our spine. It shifts us out of grounded presence and into a fear-based running the hamster wheel to make money immediately. This work wound does not acknowledge the inherent abundance in our world and instead shifts us into a cartoon-like dissociated world where we feel we aren’t keeping up with the spinning wheel of bills and expenses, that we aren’t doing enough, and we need to immediately make money to fix this wound.
We compulsively engage running on the hamster wheel of creating unreasonable and self-damaging goals to make immediate money. Ultimately this disconnects us from our authentic self and the ground of the Law of Action.
💡 How This Shows Up in Spiritual Entrepreneurs
For many spiritual entrepreneurs, this “make money NOW” wound manifests in a particularly painful way:
The Feast-or-Famine Cycle: When money gets tight, panic kicks in. Suddenly you’re launching three offerings at once, posting desperately on social media, saying yes to clients who aren’t aligned—all driven by that frantic ” make money NOW ” energy. Then you collapse, exhausted, and the cycle begins again.
Law of Action Part 2
Milanovich and McCune continue their teaching with,
“What we seem to have missed is the need to be able to determine our goals, to develop plans, and to strive to achieve these goals. When these actions are accompanied with positive thoughts and expressions of love, we are able to manifest and achieve our desires.”
Goals from Ground, Not Panic
When we have healed our work wounds, we are able to engage the Law of Action from a deeply healed and whole place. We determine soul-aligned goals that feel grounded and good in our body. Plans are created from a spacious and self-compassionate space. And pursuing the plans comes from deep self-care and grounded enthusiasm.
But notice what Milanovich and McCune are pointing to: “What we seem to have missed is the need to be able to determine our goals.”
The Missing Foundation
Most spiritual entrepreneurs skip right over this crucial step. Under the pressure of “make money NOW,” you jump straight to tactics:
- “I need to post more on social media”
- “I should launch a program this month”
- “Maybe if I lower my prices, more people will come”
- “I’ll offer a flash sale to generate quick cash”
These aren’t goals—they’re panic responses. And they’re disconnected from what Milanovich and McCune describe as the essential sequence: Determine goals → Develop plans → Strive to achieve.
What Soul-Aligned Goals Actually Feel Like
Here’s the key distinction: When you determine a goal from healed ground rather than from the “make money NOW” wound, it feels different in your body.
A panic-driven goal creates tension: tight chest, shallow breathing, that “running to catch up” feeling.
A soul-aligned goal creates grounded enthusiasm: a sense of “yes, this is right,” clarity in your solar plexus, a feeling of expansion rather than contraction.
The goal might be the same on paper—”Generate $5,000 in new revenue this quarter”—but the quality of energy behind it determines everything. One comes from fear of scarcity. The other acknowledges abundance and invites flow.
Plans from Spaciousness
When Milanovich and McCune talk about developing plans, they’re not talking about the frantic “I need to do everything at once” approach that exhausts so many spiritual entrepreneurs.
Spacious planning means:
- Breaking down overwhelming projects into bite-sized steps
- Honoring your capacity and energy rhythms
- Building in rest and integration time
- Creating contingencies without catastrophizing
This is trauma-informed business planning. You’re not trying to outrun the wound. You’re building a sustainable path that works WITH your nervous system, not against it.
Love as the Activating Force
Notice the radical teaching here: “When these actions are accompanied with positive thoughts and expressions of love, we are able to manifest and achieve our desires.”
This is the antidote to the “make money NOW” wound. When your Base Chakra is activated by fear, every action is colored by scarcity, urgency, and the sense that you’re not enough.
But when you bring love to your goals and plans—love for yourself, love for the people you serve, love for the sacred gifts moving through you—the entire energy shifts.
You’re no longer running on the hamster wheel. You’re engaging in Sacred Commerce: business as spiritual practice, where the journey toward your goals becomes an expression of your wholeness rather than a desperate attempt to fix your lack.
The Bridge: From Scarcity to Flow
The Universal Law of Action, when properly understood, isn’t about “making money NOW.” It’s about recognizing that Abundance Flow IS the runway.
When you invest in the right support, when you develop soul-aligned goals, when you create spacious plans and pursue them with love—this is what extends your capacity. This is what creates sustainable income.
The wound says: “I can’t afford to invest. I need to save money.”
The Law of Action says: “Strategic investment in your growth is what creates the abundance you’re seeking.”
This is the shift from hamster wheel to sacred spiral—upward movement that honors your pace, your gifts, and your inherent worth.
🌿 Step Off the Hamster Wheel — Right Now
You’ve just explored how the “make money NOW” wound hijacks your Base Chakra, spinning you into panic-driven tactics that exhaust you and disconnect you from true abundance.
The antidote isn’t more strategy.
The antidote is a return to your body. To ground. To what actually feels like flow.
This short guided visualization video will take you there — gently, in just a few minutes.
🎥 “The Missing Law That’s Keeping Spiritual Entrepreneurs Stuck (It’s Not the Law of Attraction)”
In this embodied experience, you’ll be invited to feel what it’s like to:
- 🌀 Set soul-aligned goals that create a sense of grounded enthusiasm — that “yes, this is right” feeling in your solar plexus
- 🌀 Hold a spacious, bite-sized plan that your nervous system can actually trust — no overwhelm, no feast-or-famine spiral
- 🌀 Experience what it feels like to move toward abundance from love rather than from scarcity
“Goals and desires are the fuel for success.” — Milanovich & McCune
But fuel only ignites when you’re connected to your body. This visualization helps you find that connection.
